But Why Me?

Hi, I’m 38 and my husband is 34. We’ve been trying to conceive our first child since January 2010. I’m starting this blog, which is more of a diary really, to help me cope, vent and generally get through this trying process. My best friend and designated sherpa has been a life saver, but I’m afraid of bogging her down with too many details and too many disappointments. So that’s where this blog comes in.

I also hope that my musings may help others who are in a similar situation… and possibly explain things to those who are fertile-y blessed.

Oh, and you can always see my status by looking at the “slider” graphic in the bottom right corner of the page. It shows what cycle day I’m on and/or how many days past ovulation (dpo) I am.

Partial DQa match. 5-6 HLA matches. Elevated NK cells.
SA: 38 million, Motility: 72%, Morph: 30%
